Show Senators Talk Railroads. WASHINGTON. April 23. As has been the case on several occasions of late the ball game today proved a greater attraction at-traction to senators than Lhc discussion of the railroad bill, and an adjournment of the senate was forced at 4 o'clock because be-cause of the absence of a quorum. The traffic agreement section of the bill was again the suDJect of immediate immedi-ate consideration, and Senator Borah was the speaker. lie contended-' that the adoption of the Kikins-Crawford provision provi-sion would mean the repeal of the Sherman Sher-man anti-trust law so far as it applies to railroads, and announced his opposition opposi-tion to this courae regardless of the Republican Re-publican platform. |
