Show PROVO. Special to Tho Tribune- TROVO, April 23. The Nineteenth Century club held Its regular weekly meeting Friday afternoon at tho homo of Mrs. George Ilavercamp. "The Voice of the Frost" was tho subject of an Interesting In-teresting paper given by Mrs. Roso Soarlc. The romalnder of the tlmo was devoted de-voted to the report of the committee on the programme of the club, for tho coming com-ing year. Mrs. George T. Judd was hostoss at a delightful afternoon party on Friday, when she entertained a number of lior friends. The rooms were prettily decorated dec-orated with Japanese ton, roses, and a large cluster of the same flowers wns used as a centerpiece on tho dining table. ta-ble. The time wns spent In playing cards, after which a dainty luncheon was served to the following gtiests: Mesdames Mes-dames Ward, Openshaw, Hughes, TTelnd-sleman. TTelnd-sleman. Hardy, Dixon, Boren, Decker, Wall and Hampshire. Tho Sorosls club mot on Wednesday afternoon with Mrs A. N. Holdaway. Mrs. Rose Searlc of the Nineteenth Century club gave an excellent paper on "Forestry." Mrs J. W. AIrd gave a report re-port of directors' mooting of tho Federation Fed-eration of Women's clubs, which was recently re-cently held in Salt Lake City. Mrs. A. E Buckler, Mrs. J- W. AIrd and Mrs. Rose Scarle of the Nineteenth Century club were guests for tho afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Biersacli of this city have gone to California for a pleasure pleas-ure and sight-seeing tour. Mrs. William Ward entertained, Friday afternoon, at a children's party for her daughter. Ermcline. Mr- and Mrs. W. K. Farrcr entertained Friday evening in honor of Bcngt Johnson, John-son, Jr., who leaves for a mission to Denmark Den-mark some time In May. On Saturday afternoon Mrs. Laura Olson Ol-son and daughter entertained at tholr home on Academy avenue In honor of Mrs. Pauley and two daughters, who are en route from New York to -California.
