Show EPHRAIM. i i Special to The Tribune. EPHRAIM. April 23. The ladies of the G. G. G. club were delightfully entertained enter-tained by Miss Loralnc Stevens. Sunday afternoon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mndscn. The time was pleasantly pleasant-ly spent. Mrs. Willie Anderson very pleasantly entertained at a dinner party Tuosday evening In honor of the birthday of her husband. Covers wero laid for nine. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Nelson of Salt Lake City "were In this city during the week, visiting with relatives nntl frlonds. They left for Redmond, Tuesday, where they will remain for several days, after which they will return to Salt Lake. The friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Anderson tendered them a surprise at their beautiful new homo In the southern part of the city Sunday evening. An enjoyable time was reported, report-ed, and an excellent lunch was served. A number of friends of Miss Ada Sparks took possession of her home Thursday evening In the form of a surprise. sur-prise. The guests were well supplied with lunch, wlilch made a delicious supper, sup-per, which was served shortly after their arrival. Miss I.evcrnc Peterson was pleasantly surprised by a number of her friends at her home Monday evening. Mrs. John Cherry is at Sallna this week, visiting with her daughter, Mrs. LchI Peterson, Jr. MIsh Palra Anderson was the hostess at a. dinner party Sunday evening. The tables were arranged with, potted plants and the menu was elaborate. One of the social events of the season was that of Monday evening by Miss Kate Olsen. An elaborate lunch wa.s served, the tables were decorated In tho season's flowers and the decorations were carried out In pink and green. An excellent ex-cellent musical programme was arranged for tho evening. Mls3 Jessie C. Anderson was the hostess host-ess nt a candy pull Tuesday evening, which proved to bo one of the protty evcntF of tho year. Various games had been arranged for the evening's entertainment enter-tainment After the making of tho candy, an elaborate lunch was served. Beautiful bouquets of hyacinths were used In tho decorations of the dining room. Covers' wero laid f?r twelve. A numher of girl friends of Miss Amy Greaves were entertained at a birthday purty at her home Sunday evening. Mrs. Tena Peterson was pleasantly surprised by a number of her friends Mondny afternoon. A crowd stepped Into her home during the early part of the afternoon, bringing with them an excellent excel-lent lunch, which was served shortly after their arrival. Mr. nnd Mrs. Albert Thompson delightfully de-lightfully entertained their relatives Sunday evening in the form of a family dinner. |
