Show ENJOYABLE MEETI1 OF WOMfS LEAGUE Nineteen New Members Arc Enrolled and Important Committees Com-mittees Arc Chosen. well attended meeting of- Salt Lake chapter of tho American Woman's Wom-an's league was held at 3 o'clock Saturday Sat-urday afternoon in tho parlor of tho Kcnyon hotel. A delightful literary and musical programme was rendered and :i number of business matters werc acted upon. A feature of tho meeting was two readings by IMrs. Annie An-nie Adams KiKcadden, mother of raudo Adams. Tho two readings wero J Life's Mirror" and "Keep Out, of tho Past." Mrs. Barton gave a paper on "The Ticlrenh" Mrs. Corey Albritlon, local organiv.cr of the league, mado an address on "Mr. E. G. Lewis's Promises, Past, Prcsont and Future." Mr. Lewis is the general organizer of tho league. Miss Lockington rendered two excellent excel-lent musical selections. "Oh, Come to Mo, Mr Love," and "Garden of Roses."" Nineteen new members wore received re-ceived into the chapter Saturday, and Mrs. Albritton was elected delegate to tho national convention of tho American Amer-ican Woman's league, to bo held at SI. Louis in .June. The Berkhoel Music company has promisod to make a liberal lib-eral donation on a piano for the chapter chap-ter house of the league, to bo built in this city as soon as enough mifmbcrs have been obtained.
