A meeting of the advertising and publicity committee commit-tee was called and, after discussion, n sub-committee was appointed to investigate inves-tigate the proposition nnd make a detailed de-tailed report to tho board of governors of tho club. To test the sentiment of business busi-ness men of the eity, a representative list of about twenty-five prominent business men, individuals and corporations corpora-tions wag made; theso were seen bv members of the committee and asked whnt support tho3 would give to rucIi a movement. Tho government of the organization is to be in the hands of a committee of twenty-five, named by tho president of tho Commercial Club, with tho advice of tho board of governors. This committee includes representative representa-tive business men in practically all lines, nnd is regarded as one of the strongest aggregations of business men that could bo named. An expert statistician has already been engaged to prepare dnta for a booklet which will bo issued in the finest style. One feature of tho publicity campaign cam-paign will bo to start at home and educate edu-cate tho people of Utah regarding tho resources and ndvantages of the State. Tho entire Stale will be included in this movement, and nflcr it has been demonstrated that tho work is being done for the benefit of the whole State as well as of Salt Lake City, it is expected ex-pected that support in a financial way will bo given by other communities. J. E. Caine, secretary of tho Commercial Commer-cial Club, will act as sccretar3' and managor of tho Publicity Bureau, and tho headquarters will be in tho Commercial Com-mercial Club building. |
