Mr. Gwinn returns re-turns from Pendleton, where he went four years ago. having bought out the Fcrnlsh bank of that Hty. Some months ago he disposed of his bank there and returned hero to make this his permanent perma-nent home, lie is one of tho most substantial sub-stantial business men of the state. The Idaho Northern railroad, operating now between Nam pa and Emmctt, Is preparing pre-paring to build on into Long valley,, a distance of forty miles. This is tho Dewev road. The extension . will tap a valuable timber, agricultural and grazing belt and be of immense assistance to a new and rapidly developing, country now comparatively isolated.
