The jury summoued b3 Coroner Hartwell to investigate the cause of the death of ITeury Grassmee, an inmate of the' Pat-ton Pat-ton insane asylum, today returned a verdict ver-dict to the effect that Grassmee came to his death as a result of injuries inflicted, in-flicted, as the evidence appeared to show, by TIans S. Berg, an attendant at the asj'Jum. The report also censured Dr. Gustavo "Vvilsou, Acting Medical Superintendent Patton and Superintendent Superintend-ent Butler for ''failing to take proper steps to insure Berg's detention by the I authorities.''
