Batteries A and B of tho Philippine War Veterans of Utah will hold a joint mooting at the city and county building build-ing Tuesday night, for the purpose of arranging a celebration of tho eleventh elev-enth aunivcrsary of tho .battle of Manila, Ma-nila, February I. An organization will also bo effected effect-ed to commemorate tho battlo and honor tho heroes who took part in that historical his-torical contest. Tho celebration will include in-clude n banquet, and a programme of speeches and music. At. the close of the war about "75 members of Batteries A and B survived and there are now about J100 members living. Of these, 100 reside in this city. Following is the call for the meeting: meet-ing: "To the Members of Batteries A and B. Utah Light Artillery, United Slates Volunteers: Feeling that tho time hat coine, after a lapse of eleven years, for a general reunion of (ho Utah Philippine Philip-pine war veterans, we, the undersigned, members of tho above batteries, hereby here-by issue a call for a ureeling to bo held in tho council chamber of the city and county buildinc.
