Show HEALTH REPflBT SHOWS 816 MINI BERTHS Contagion and Infection Also oh Increase Over the Previous Previ-ous Week; There were nineteen more births reported re-ported to the city board of health during dur-ing the week ending November 6 than during the week previous. The total reported re-ported was CI, as. compared with 42 for the prior week. Of those reported the past week, woro boys and 25 wero girls. Tho deaths reported were the same in number as last week, namely name-ly 24, of which 7- were males and 17 were females. Only one body was shipped into the cily for buria'tf Contagious and infectious disease? showed quite an increase the past week over the previous one, there being 61 cases reported, as compared with 35 cases for the week ending October 28. Tho greatest iucreaso was in scarlet fever, there being 31 cases of that disease dis-ease reported during the week, as compared com-pared with 1G for the week previous. pre-vious. ' Six houses remained in quarantine at the close of the week on account of smallpox; 55 on account of scarlet fever fev-er and 4 on account of diphtheria.
