The Jsotta Fraschini, with jMax Poismans at tho wfieel. started, at 10 o'clock tonight to-night upon mi automobile race of 'ISO miles, from this eil3r to Phoenix. Ariz., and at intervals of fifteen minutes was followed from (ho starting pot nt by nine other cars. It is said to be the most difficult race in America. Each car carried, beside the driver, a mechanician, food, water and camp equipment for the occupants. A great crowd witnessed tho start.
