Show Horses Bring "Big Money. LEXINGTON. K. Dec. 1. Spirited bidding and higher juices than were paid yesterday were features of the second day of the annual fall sale of horses. The 155 horses sold brought an average of almost 52GS a head, an aggregate of 5 1 1.510. Tho highest price paid was for a chestnut chest-nut colt by Connanl-Eonlce. which went to E. R. Bradley of Lexington, for ?5100 .1 L. McGlnnls of New York paid $1000 for a chestnut colt bv Connard-Bonlhle. and E. R. Bradley paid $1100 for a chestnut chest-nut Mly by Connard-Bertha A Mexican rhestnut gelding, six years old. consigned by W. R. Adams, went to Milton Young of Lexington for $2500. |
