Show BIG PAIR TO COMMENCE WEDNESDAY MORNING Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, SepL 29 The big four-county fair will celebrate Its opening Wednesday morning at the fair grounds with a number num-ber of uddresses, which will bo delivered by prominent men of the state. Among those who have expressed tholr Intention Inten-tion of being present arc Governor John G. Cutler, J.yman R. Martlncau and Joseph Jo-seph I-Iowell, candidates for congress on the Democratic and Republican tickets, respectively. Arrangements have been perfected by local Democrats and Republicans Re-publicans to entertain their candidates while they are In tho city. The fair proper will really open for tho public Tuesday night, but the formal opening will be held Wednesday morning. Nearly all of the booths have been taken and some of the best agricultural exhibits are being unloaded and tastefully arranged in tho main building. The Nat Relse Carnival company, with an aggregation aggre-gation of fourteen tent sideshows, Is on the ground and will be ready for business busi-ness Wednesday morning. The drawing card at the fair will be the horso races. Over 100 of the fastest trotting and running run-ning horses from Idaho, Colorado, Utah und other slates have arrived and the officers of the association have arranged some of the best racing events which havo ever bcon seen in this state |
