Show AMERICAN CANDIDATES TO BE GIVEN RECEPTION The ladies of the American party will tender a reception to tho American candidates can-didates this evening at tho homo of Mrs, Lee Chamberlain, 54 East Brlgham street, at 8 o'clock. Thoro will be speeches by Assistant City Attorney E, A. Rogers, Attorney A. J. Weber. Attorney Attor-ney J. W. McKinney. FIro Chief W. H. Gloro and Attorney W. 8. Dalton. Mrs. Arthur C- White will render a vocal solo, with accompaniment by Mrs. Pearson; Miss Frazier will recite and Miss Ella Pitts will play a violin solo.
