Show PBOVO DEMOCRATS lam WEDMESDAY County Convention to Select Candidates for Various Offices. Special to Tho Tribune. PROVO, Sept- 29. The Democratic county convention, to bo held hero on Wednesday, promises to be a lively one, but there Is a dearth of candidates and only by tho enthusiasm manifested by tho delegates will men bo induced to accept nominations. Thero is, however, a feeling which manifests itself on all sides, that this will be a good time to get on tho Democratic Demo-cratic ticket in Utah county. Tho people are tired of tho ring rule and thev say the only way to emphasi7.o their disapproval disap-proval Is to voto tho ring out of office. This sentiment portends victory for tho Democrats. Frank A. McGraw's name will bo placed before the convention tomorrow for nomination nomi-nation as County Attorney. John E. Boot, the Center street merchant, will ask tho convention lo nomlnato him for County Commissioner, and Joseph W. Loveless, present fire chief, will have a strong following fol-lowing for the office of Sheriff. The convention will be called to order at 10 a. m. In the Provo' opera-house. A. B. Morgan of Provo will be temporary chairman and Ashley Bartlett of Provo temporary secretary. |
