Tho plghtocn-hour plghtocn-hour flyer on the Pennsylvania railroad, bound from Chlcngo to Now York, ran Into a small landslide in a deep cut near Nowlon Hamilton, east of - hero, today, shortly after 0 a. m., derailing tho train; but, fortunately, Injuring only ono person, H. H. Mlngus, baggageman, of Jersey City. Tho train loft Altoona nearly two hours late and was running forty-llvo miles an hour as it approached tho cut. A heavy fog prevailed ut tho time and tho engineer engi-neer did not see the obstruction until 100 close to stop his train. Tho locomotive, locomo-tive, combination car and two sleepers loft the track, but did not fall over. The engine and' first car, however, were tilted at an angle of about forty-live degrocs. |
