OKLAHOMA BANK FAILS. National Bank Examiner Made Receiver Re-ceiver of Lexington Concern OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.. May 24 The First National bank of Lexington. Okla. failed to open Its doors at 9 o'clock today. to-day. Vice- President Lawrence Voltz ayfl that he found there was Insufficient cash on hand for present needs arid he concluded to dose the bank temporarily. He la confident that tho bank will only be I losed B few days and the failure Is due to Inability to realize on collateral. National Bank Examiner BtUrtevant has been appointed receiver. The last examination ex-amination Of this bank showed its capital capi-tal to be Impaired by losses, and the comptroller ordered an assessment on the stockholders to make tho Impairment good, or the placing of the bank In voluntary volun-tary liquidation.
