Hyde, founder of the Equitable Life" Assurance society, appeared botweon tho pictures of Jesso James and "Soapy" Smith, under tho titlo "Klndcl's Fumous Gallery of Dead Characters," aro embodied ln threo informations -fllod ln tho criminal court hero today by District Attorney Gcorgo Stldgor. A capias was Issued for Mr. KJndcl. Kindel Is alleged to have published tho ofTcndlng circular February 20, UK, and to havo circulated It by means of the mails nnd othowlso with the Intention, tho Informations allege, of Insinuating lhat Henry B. Hydo consorted with outlaws and conlldeneo mon. Charles XV. Mills, inspector of ngoncles of tho Eo,ultablo socloty, who mado tho affidavits on which tho Informations nro based, said that tho prosecution was instituted in-stituted after ail other means had failed to Induce tho author of tho clrculnr to dlscontlnuo tho publication of nllegcd defamatory de-famatory insinuations regarding ono who la dead. Tho circular had not Injured tho company's business, Mr. Mills said, and It wus not for bualricss reasons that tho complnlnt was filed.
