March 17 Girl leaders have escorted hundreds of frightened strike, breakers to safety from the big clothing factories In the wholesale district, dis-trict, which were besieged by -100 garment gar-ment workers pickets. The employers adopted this strategy successfully when it was feared the police would be unable un-able to preveAt a serious clash between the union nnd non-union factions. Marched Through Crowds.
