In some sections of tho Bitter Root Dubois Du-bois found that millions of feet of valuable val-uable timber were destroyed by the for-cot for-cot fires of last summer, but the damage was not near bo great as has been reported, re-ported, Mr. Dubois states that he was forceJ to abandon his survey of tho country owing to heavy falls of snow during the past ten days. |
