Show PARK CITY HOSPITAL. It Has Received a Strong Impetus From tho Liberal Subscriptions of Business Men. PARK CITY, Feb. 25. Within the last few days the hospital project has received an Impetus which hrs placed it safely out of tho realm of speculation into the realm of assured facts. The commlttco which has In hand tho collection of funds, of which J. P. Langford. president of tho Miners' union, and Secretary E. F. Boylo and David Baxter aro members, havo devoted their efforts mainly tho hist few-days few-days to tho business element of tho community, com-munity, with a result which amazes tho promoters of the scheme Mr, Langford said this morning that every business houso that had been visited so far had pledged Itself to glvo $100 toward to-ward tho enterprise to start out, and another an-other hundred as soon as tho work on the buildings actually commenced. Mr. Langford Lang-ford said that this assurance was mado by a very large proportion of the business firms, and ho Is of tho opinion that practically prac-tically all tho houses In town will accedo to the acheme. This alone assures tho hospital, and Mr. Langford said lost ovonlng that It was possible that those having tho matter In chargo might start men to breaking tho ground for the building before long Funds continue to How In from tho members mem-bers of the unions In a steady stream, the Teamsters' union at its last meeting subscribing sub-scribing $100 as a body. The Rathbone Sister auxiliary to tho Knights of Pythias Initiated seven members mem-bers last evening at the Masonic temple and had a splendid tlmo at refreshments and an Informal social. Andrew Martin went to Salt Lako today In connection with business with tho Maccabees. Mac-cabees. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Sutton Returned this morning from Provo. Joe Brandel was back to the Park today. Ed Rosenear returned from Zlon this morning. M. J. McGlll was among tho Incoming passengers today. The volunteer fire department met at the city hall last ovonlng and discussed the question of the city water mains |
