EXTENT OF THE DEPOT. The Union depot itself, with its wings for the accommodation of various In- tcrcsts, will be almost two full squares or blocks In length, and blocks in Salt ' Lake City are blocks indeed. There will bea steel viaduct erected across North Temple stret, affording a convenient and safe passage over the railroad yard and tracks. This will be kept In repair by the railroad companies, compa-nies, but turned over when completed to the custodianship of Salt Lake City. The first work will be the demolition of some old buildings north of the present Short Line passenger depot. Upon this space will be constructed the roundhouse and buildings for the accommodation ac-commodation of locomotives. Then will come certain shops and conveniences leading up to tho Union depot building proper. STREETS TO BE CLOSED. The following streets will be closed by these Improvements: Morris avenue, the west third of Third West street, between north line of First South and south line of North Temple street; east half of Fourth West, from north line of First South to solith line of .Second North street; all of east half of Fourth West, between be-tween north line of Second North and . south line of Third North street; east half of Fourth Wesv. between north I line of Third North and south line of ' Fourth North street; each half of Fourth West, between north line of Fourth North and south line of Fifth North street; west' half of Fourth West from north line of Fifth 'North to south line of Ninth North street; all of Fifth West, between north line of Seventh North and south line of Ninth North street; all of Grant in Kinney & Gourlay's addition, between north line of Ninth North and a point 150 feet north of the north line of Ninth ( North street: all of Lynn In same ad- dltlon between north line of Ninth North and south line of Hamilton i street; all of Culmcr in same addition between north line of Hamilton and j south line of May street; all of South Temple between west lino of Third We3t and east line of Fourth Weat street, all of North Temple between west' line of Third West and cast line of Fourth West street.
