A largo chlpmcnt of Eastern poultry that camo in in tho morning was quickly snapped up, and by noon tho retailors had possession of nearly tho whole lot. Prices havo been Arm all tho week, and tho demand de-mand steady. A big load of fish also was shipped in and sold so well that tho consignment which Is expected on Monday will bo nono too soon. Trout wore nearly ail gono early in tho day. Oysters wero completely out, and trado has been brisker in that lino than it has been for a long time. Tho price of shad has gono up to 12 cents and of catfish to IS cents per pound. In splto of tho fact that thoy are nolllng very well. A carload of Del Oro and Barrett lemons was received, tho former selling at 53.50 and tho lattor at 54. Thcro aro no moro lemons of tho Crocker and Sperry kind; for some reason they do not seem to catch on hero, and merchants havo decided to discontinue Importing Im-porting them. A fresh lot of fine-looking pineapples also camo In. Eggs are now sold at 55.25, and still show a llkollhood of going up.
