Show i : proclamation. 1 Executive Department, Salt Lake City, Utah Ter., September 5th, 1S70. Know te That I, S. A. Mann, Acting Governor Gov-ernor of the Territory of Utah, by virtue vir-tue of the power and authority in me vested by the laws of the United States and in pursuance of an act of Congress, approved July 27th, 1S6S, do hereby assign and appoint Hon 0. F. Strickland Strick-land one of tho Justices of the Supreme Su-preme Court of said Territory, to the First Judicial District thereof, with full power and authority to do and perform per-form all and everything pertaining to the office of Judge of the District Court in and for said First Judicial District.
