besides its operating expenses and other heavy calls upon its exchequer I has now a splendid surplus to further develop the mine Daly No2 shaft is being sunk which will soon reach the 1200 level which T il be the means of opening up new ti asures Under its harmonious and conservative management the Daly in the near future will not only be a producer but a dividend payer as well Sunday a strike of ore was made between the 400 and 200 levels Tihe Allance is working along its old lines Some changes are contemplated as the result of Nick Treweeks visit to Park City last week Surveyors have been at work on the old Empire mine which is now owned by the Alliance Al-liance company with a view of resuming re-suming work on the ground of this old mine which has not been operated during the past four
