| Show Happenings at Heber House cleaning time is near at hand and people are glad to see it after the long muddy spring The weather has been very changeable of late It is fine at present but the clouds i indicate more rain The busy season has arrived and farmers are hard at work plowing putting in crops etc Thursday last the families of Joseph Molton started for Mexico where they intend in-tend to make their homes Mr Molton has been there for some time past Mr L B Duke who has been suffering for some time with pneumonia is slowly recovering 1 The fourth term of school began last Monday but owing to the lack of means they will not be able to continue more than cix weekii longer Mrs Julia Crook who has been ill since last fall with dropsy has been very bad lately It is feared she will never regain her health Mrs John Cummings whose baby is only a week old has had a severe attack of pneumonia It was thought for several days she would not recover re-cover but it is hoped that she is a little on the improve at present Quite a serious accident happened to the son of Mr Elishu Averettfi last Friday 1 evening about S oclock He and a number t f of other little boys were digging candy from a candy bucket with an ax and one of them raising the ax accidentally struck George Averette in the side of the head breaking the skulL Dr Lindsay was summoned sum-moned and examined tho wound finding pieces of bone broken off and after taking them out he very skillfully dressed it making mak-ing the sufferer as comfortable as possible Wo are happy to say he is improving as c rapidly as could be expected MINIMUM April 191S91 |
