General Butler Ejected from Court 4 BOSTON April 21A week or so ago General Benjamin F Butler acting as attorney for Mrs Johnson convicted oft of-t perjury in a pension case had a dispute with United States District Judge Carpon ter a the result of which Butler was forbidden for-bidden to appear before the court This morning however when tho case came up Butler came i and Insisted on addressing the court Judge Carpenter declared him disorderly and ordered the marshal t re n It j wv Dim from the courtroom The mar shal and his assistants escorted him out The old general was much affected and his eyes filled with tears as he exclaimed I yield to force When the marshal released re-leased him in the corridor General Butler immediately returned to the courtroom Judgo Carpenter had loft the bench and the general after looking about and seeing the bench vacant exclaimed Well the room smells a little better now than it aida aid-a few moments ago
