Mrs. Fred Rampton was named queen of the Sweetheart Ball held recently at the Elk's Club in Salt Lake City. FRED AND Marie were out dancing with a group of friends. Many friends from the Bountiful area were present at the Sweetheart dinner-dance and enjoyed seeing Marie receive her special honor. The Ramptons live at 165 West 2nd South in a home they built many years ago. There was a small rock home on the lot into which they moved when they were first married. They built their family business on part of the large lot. It was known as the Farmer's Feed and Produce Company. They recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Oct. 13, 1975. SINCE FRED retired from the operation of the business, he has served in civic positions. posi-tions. Marie has been active in Women's Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. They have traveled extensively exten-sively and enjoyed good life with friends and family. They have two daughters, Mrs. Steve (LaRue) Walker of Poulson, Mont, and Mrs. Glen (Faye) Dillon of Wenatchee, Wash. They have six grandchildren and three great-granchildren. blm |
