Show LIVESTOCK DIE AT ENTERPRISE The Washington county drouth committee will go to Enterprise Monday, if weather conditions permit, to investigate reports of loss of livestock there on account of lack of feed. Ten or more head of work horse? have died there within the last few days, together with dairy cattle and range animals. A foot of new snow is causing caus-ing untold suffering as all roads are blocked. Mail got through Monday for the first time in ten days. The lower reservoir is running over and the upper one is nearly full, the largest supply of water ever known there. The committee consists of Jos. T. Atkin, H. T. Atkin, D. H. Morris, Arthur F. Miles, Benjamin Swapp, David Hirschi and Secretary Walter F. Smith. |
