Show Ballard I Telintha Rasmussen 8 Rick Halls have new baby girl Rick and Terry Hall have a new daughter born Oct. 2 in the Duchesne County Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was named Lauren Elizabeth. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lane and Betty Hall and Mrs. Jerry Harris, Shreveport. Louisiana, and Mrs. Betty Allen of San Diego, Calif. Great-grandparents Great-grandparents are Mrs. Betty Gulity and Mrs. Helen Hurt, both of San Diego. Joe and Doris Haslem, who have been living in Myton, have moved back to North Ballard. They are living in the Kenneth and Coleen Long home. Joe is working for Milchems as a mud engineer. Father and sons of the Aaronic Priesthood went on an outing last weekend. They went near the Book Cliffs and spent two days and nights camping and gathering posts, which are for sale. The money will go to the Scouts. There were ten people who participated. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Peterson of Salt Lake City were here over the weekend on business and visited Neita's parents, the Wes Ercanbracks. Jeff Winn met with a freak accident. He works at the Dialysis Center in Roosevelt. They were cleaning some tubes with formaldehyde and a tube broke and hit him in the eye. The formaldehyde for-maldehyde went into the eye and also into the lungs. He may ha ve to go to Salt Lake City to see a doctor. Ronald Asay, who was hurt in a car accident several months ago and has been in the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, has now come to his home in Arcadia. He has not fully recovered and will be returning occasionally for checkups. Ron is Lavell Asay's son. Millie Hatch has been here visiting her daughters and families from Las Vegas, Nev., Pat Anderson and Jennie Bowden. Millie visited at the Telintha Rasmussen home for a short while. |
