Merle Ross. MAKES TEAM AGAIN Gail Larsen made the livestock judging team again this year, which qualifies him to go to the State Fair. Congratulations are really in order for Gail, as this makes the third year he has won this honor. Arta Ross, Grace, Vera and Carol Car-ol Larsen attended the Farmerette meeting, which was held at the home of Joyleen Clayburn in Bridgeland. New and fancy ideas were demonstrated on sandwich making. Lynn Fairbank, of Salt Lake City, was out to check on things at his ranch, and especially to see how the new house was progressing. progress-ing. He was very pleased to report it had taken just about two weeks for its completion. ATTEND RECEPTION Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jensen, Mrs. Thomas Gilbert, Naomi and Rulon Gilbert, Mrs. Archie Larsen, Gary Thompson, Hugh Evans and Stanley Keller were among those attending the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Jensen in Tridell, Friday night. Qut-o-town guests that arrived to attend the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Wil.-liam Wil.-liam Calvin and sons, Bob and Ronnie, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Clough and son, Richard, Maurine Allred and Byron Nelson, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Golden Bair, of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Bastian and Mrs. Keith Bastian, of Greenriver, Utah. Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jensen entertained the out-of-town guests with a lovely turkey dinner. The nswlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Jensen, were also present. |
