Show 59 fire Goriisiad Teaching Staffs Fifty-nine out of the eighty-two school teachers under contract in the Duchesne County School District Dis-trict this term are certified teachers, teach-ers, reports Supt. Rowan C. Stutz. Only seven out of the 41 secondary second-ary school teachers are not certified certi-fied teachers. Twenty-five of the 41 full-time teachers for elementary elemen-tary grades have certificates and 16 do not. Supt. Stutz said. None of the seven half-day teachers are certified. Five of these seven are kindergarten teachers and two relieve re-lieve the school principals for supervisory duties. Number of teachers in the district dis-trict this term, on a full-time basis, is two teachers less than the past term, Supt Stutz pointed out. This year there is one less teacher at the Roosevelt Elementary Elemen-tary and the Myton Elementary. This decrease in teacher personnel person-nel is due to decreased enrollment at these two schools, according to Supt. Stutz. Size of the teaching teach-ing staff at other schools in the county remains the same for the 1955-56 school terms as for the past year. |
