Show Rongely Meets Cougars Friday 'In Grid Opener Hew Coach Leads Green Team In Title Defense A brand new coach, and practically prac-tically a brand new football team will greet Union High grid fans Friday, (tomorrow) at 1:15, when Coach Ted Heath will present the 1955 Cougars in their first game of the season Coming to Roosevelt Roose-velt to open the grid wars this fall will be an always powerful Rangely, Colo, aggregation. With most of the .starters from last year's Region Five championship champion-ship team gone via the graduation route, Coach Heath and his assist ' ant, Glen Allred, are building from the ground up. Neither is ambitious ambi-tious about making predictions, but is confident the new Cougar machine will play a lot of fine football 'er the season wanes.. Squad of Forty Forty kids are really putting up a .stiff scrap for a place on the Cougar squad, and according to Coach Heath, the field is wide open. op-en.
