Jones were short and puffed set off with white lace trim around them and around the plain round neck. They held bouquets bou-quets of daisies with lime green velvet accent ribbons. Black, patent leather shoes accesorized the dresses. W. Kay Smith was best man, and David Batt, Steve Piatt, Richard Howell, Leon Hyatt, Brent Hyatt, and Von C. La-jrNpir La-jrNpir Jones are the bride-i" bride-i" groom's parents. Both Mrs. Hyatt and Mrs. Jones wore lime green dresses. President and Mrs. Robert Linford greeted the guests at the reception and Mrs. Dixie Leavitt presided at the guest book. Mrs. Bonnie Smith and Mrs. Karen Gurr (sisters of the bridegroom), Mrs. Jerrolyn Hyatt (sistor-in-law of the bride), and Mrs. Lillis Larson helped at the gift table. The refreshments were served by Misses Charlene Holt, Patricia Smith, Joyce Marsden, Audrey Isom, Elma Lynne Sandberg, Chris Wallace, Wal-lace, Sharon Wood, and Mrs. Vicky Lynn Ott. Those helping Mrs. Wanda Cox in the kitchen were Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, Mrs. Vera Isom, Mrs. Judy Kenny, Mrs. Ormo Wood, Mrs. Louise Bluhm, Mrs. Florence Holt, Mrs. Vivian Marsden, and Mrs. Mae Boyter. i Mrs. Reed Berrett and Mrs. ' Doris Williams set the mood for the reception with organ music; and a special musical number was sung by Kirk and Brett Smith accompanied ' by their mother, Mrs. Bonnie Smith. The bride chose a tailored blue whipped creme dress with a pleated bodice for her going away costume. The newlyweds honeymooned honey-mooned in Hollywood and Southern California for four days. Overly. f A reception honoring the fnewlyweds was held that same evening in the Seventh JWard Cultural Hall in Cedar. The bride greeted the guests '1n a floor length gown of .white linen with a heavy Jiaisy lace covering featuring mid arm length sleeves. Her full net veil fell to the floor from a daisy flowered tiara. Bhe carried a bouquet of lil-Jies. lil-Jies. Mrs. Don C. (Aliene) Overly, ihe bride's sister, wag matron M honor and Miss Jeannie Vardley was maid of honor. Jlie other attendants were Mrs. Johnny (Sonja) Black, Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Condio, Miss Marsha Holt, and Mrs. Neal JLynda) Riffle. , The attendants wore bright fellow crepe drosses with pleated bodices and a sash tying in the back. The sleeves Reeve, Janet Limb, Audrey Isom, and Linda Christensen. The bride graduated from USU with a B. S. in Business Education June 7 of this year. She is presently working as head secretary for the Business Busi-ness Education Department at USU and will teach business subjects at Logan High School this Fall. The bridegroom attended CSU for a year and Is now enrolled at USU with a major in engineering. He recently re. turned from an LDS Mission to Southern California. |
