Show Former PUS ladles enjoy two-day get-together here The group of ladies, who be longed to the 1923 class of the Parowan High School and who gathered here for a reunion, re-union, enjoyed two full days of activity, beginning on Friday Fri-day morning, according to Mrs. Frostie Mitchell, one of the group. Friday morning the ladies met at the Five Mile camp for breakfast and a morning get-together. get-together. They then traveled to Cedar. Breaks for the afternoon after-noon which included a luncheon lunch-eon at the lodge there. In the evening all attended attend-ed the Shakespearean Festival Festi-val play "King Henry the Fourth". Saturday they all gathered at the home of Mrs. Nellie Pritchard where one of the members Mrs. Frankie Dalley Couts intertained at a brunch in honor of her mother, Mrs. Pritchard, then were entertained enter-tained by a granddaughter of one of their members, Miss Lorraine Rowley, with songs, with guitar accompaniment, She is Mrs. W. Clair Rowley's granddaughter. That evening they gathered at the Old Rock Church for a reception and open house where they met and visited with old schoolmates and other oth-er area residents who called to be with them. - During the two days many pictures were shown of the members of the group and many more were taken, and all during the time reminis-ing reminis-ing on old times was the big feature of the gathering. All of those who were mentioned men-tioned in the article last week were on hand with the exception excep-tion of Mrs. Golda Rasmussen Brunner, who had to remain home for health reasons. |
