Show Mrs. Maud Corry Honored on 8 1st. Birthday p H" 1 MAUD BRACKEN CORRY The 81st birthday anniversary of Maud Bracken Corry was the occasion for a family reunion last Sunday. It was a special day for the honored lady who enjoyed enjoy-ed having all of her children and descendants celebrating with her. The family gathered at Navajo Lake for a delicious breakfast cook-out and morning activities. The birthday dinner along. with a beautiful candled cake was held at the family home during the afternoon. Mrs. Corry was born In Pine Valley, Washington County. She was one of the first students ca- school. However the illness of her mother and family responsibilities responsibili-ties prevented her from graduating. graduat-ing. I She moved to Cedar City when she became the wife of Moroni Corry. She and her husband raised five children. During her lifetime she has not only successfully suc-cessfully maintained her home but has been active In community commu-nity affairs. Mr. Corry passH away June 14. 1933. Family members present for the reunion were Mr. and Mrs. Ashley (Edrle) Marshall, Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith (Ruth), Cap! tola, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Corry, Eureka, Calif.; Ma-jor Ma-jor and Mrs. Charles M. Elliott, Mountain Home, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. T. Gordon Smith (LePrele), Cedar City. Grandchildren honoring Mrs. Corry were: Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Marshall; Mar-shall; Mr. and Mrs. Kuhen Marshall, Mar-shall, Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brereton, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Lindy Nielsen; Mr. and Mrs. Col-lin Col-lin Smith, Salt Lake City; Miss Blllie Sue Smith, Capitola, Calif.; Jackie and Randy Corry, Eure-ka, Eure-ka, Calif; Patricia and Kevin Elliott, El-liott, Mt. Home, Idaho. Also In attendance were ten great-grandchildren. |
