That the Bullion Mining company, operating op-erating at Goods pri rigs, New, needs no more than settlement sheets to attest its merits is being rapidly demonstrated. Colonel J. J. Daynes, Jr., president and general manager of the property, who returned Wednesday niyht from a visit to the mine, yesterday spoke of late developments de-velopments and also exhibited the hist of the settlement sheets. - One car, weihiiiK 49,154 pound p. gave values of 15. y ounces silver. 5-1.1 per cent lead, a net price of $104.55 per ton, with a net for the car1 of $2107.01. Colonel Daynes, who left the mine Tuesday, Tues-day, said that the new mill was behaving in Rood form, turning out three tons of high-grade concentrates per day. On the 200-foot level, where big stringers oT high-grade ore are coming in, work Is being be-ing pushed to get connection with the big body which comes down from the 145-foot level, sloping being done In two places. The auxiliary mill, which handles the dump, is making a splendid recovery and effecting a saving of 9S per cent. Colonel Daynes admitted that he had a "hot time" during his stay at t he mine, as the temperature whs during the daytime around 110 in the shade. He said, however, that the atmosphere was so dry that this was not extremely uncomfortable: that the thirty men employed em-ployed at the mine and mill were well paid, well fed and contented. |
