Show Indorsed by Bryan. WASHINGTON. June 21. William J. Bryan, passing through the capital today, added his indorsement to the adminlstra- , tlon food bill in this statement: A government that can commandeer the lives of its young men and call for the money of its older men should have power to protect the whole people peo-ple from the greed of an unpatriotic few. I am not afraid to trust the president with the powers which the food administration bill proposes to confer. He acts in daylight and without with-out a selfish interest. No president would abuse such a Dower. |
