Elder Perry Maxfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, was released from a 2Y2 year's' mission for the LDS church on August 29. He arrived home Sept. 28. Flrlpr MnvfiplH lahnred in Hel sinki, Oulu, Lahati and other places in Finland and acted as branch president and branch supervisor in different places. While -there he spent 10 days in Lapland's fartherest city north. After his release he visited Scotland, Scot-land, Belgium, France, Germany, and gathered genealogy in England before leaving for home. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay and daughter Kathyrn of Ioka visited relatives in Altonah recently. Kenneth Ralphs, a student at the vocational school in Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennie Ralphs. Mr. and Mrs. Clenty Ames and two small children went to Salt Lake City and spent the weekend with relatives there. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Snyder of Provo were weekend guests of Albert's mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder and sister, Mrs. Gerald Jacobson and family. Mrs. Minnie Lou Stevenson, who is employed in Salt Lake City, was home with her daughter, Maxie and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jessen. Mrs. Dewey Jessen and son Douglas returned to the city with Minnie Lou Sunday' where Dewey was taken to a specialist for treatment treat-ment for a heart ailment. |
