Show Ocosevelt Payor Again Flamed Scout Executive Paul Murphy, mayor of Rosevelt and member of the Roosevelt LDS Stake Presidency, was re-elected vice-president of the Utah National Parks Council following the reelection re-election of W. W. Clyde of Spring, ville as Council President for 1956-57 1956-57 at the annual council meeting held October 3 in Provo, reports Rulon Dean Skinner, Field Scout Executive. Members of the Council's executive ex-ecutive board from the Basin are: Elvin O. Barker, Duchesne; James E. Bacon, Roosevelt; Glen Mohl-man, Mohl-man, Altamont; and S. Woodrow White, Vernal. Other council officials located in the Basin are Rowan C. Stutz, Duchesne and LaReLl Anderson, Vernal. Both are members-at-large of the Utah National Parks Council. Coun-cil. Meft On WpHnpsrtflV All the men listed above with the exception of vice-president Murphy meet in Provo with the executive board every other month on the first Wednesday of the month. Their next meeting is Dec. 5'. Mr. Murphy should not only meet with the executive board, but on alternate months on the first Wednesday has a meeting with the Council president and vice-presidents vice-presidents from other areas of the council, stated Mr. Skinner. Attending the annual meeting of the Utah National Parks Council were some 11 men from the Basin: Bas-in: Elvin O. Barker, Neill C. Jensen, Jen-sen, and Kermit Poulsen of Duchesne; Du-chesne; Glen Mohlman of Alta-mont; Alta-mont; James E. Bacon, Floyd Lab-rum, Lab-rum, Sharon Cummings, and Rulon Dean Skinner of Roosevelt; and S. Woodrow White, LaRell Anderson, Ander-son, and Henry A. Mansfield of Vernal. |
