Show VIIITEfiOCKS Madeena Smith Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Twitchell and J. O., Hoops attended the funeral of Mrs. Franklin Jarman in Aavalon last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Collett visited vis-ited their son in Cedar City and friends relatives in St. George the past weekend. A. M. Betts of Stewart, Nevada a former resident of Whiterocks, visited the Floyd Wheelers the first of the week. Two quilting parties were held in the ward this week, one at the Bill. Hoops home and one at the Elbert Smith home Thursday. Mrs. Erma Collett's mothers, Mrs. Alice Biling of Roosevelt, visited with her this week. There was no Indian Relief Society So-ciety meeting held Wednesday on account of the death of Leslie Ice. Several of the ladies of the ward received new sets of stainless steel cookware this weekend. Norwood Hardy and son Lewis spent Saturday fishing in Uintah Canyon. Mrs. Esther Harvey and three granddaughters of Tridell visited Verna Hoops Friday. n" |
