Show Missionary From France Es Home i Dwayne Stevenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stevenson, formerly of Mtn. Home, recently home from France where he has been for the last two and a half years laboring as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dwayne started his mission in Geneva, Switzerland, where he spent five months learning the French language and getting oriented orient-ed into missionary life. After five months he was made senior companion com-panion and was appointed to go to Lausanne, Switzerland, and reopen re-open the city for missionary work. There had been no missionaries actively working in the city for twenty years. After spending eight months in Lausanne, he was then transferred to the mission headquarters in Paris for three months where his principal duty was helping plan and direct the mission's first annual an-nual mission-wide youth conference. confer-ence. From Paris, Dwayne was sent to Nancy, France, where he spent the last year of his mission as president of the Strasbourg district. His primary duties were to travel around the district and supervise and direct missionary and church activities in that area. Dwayne's mission ended July 12 and he was married July 16 in the Swiss Temple to Miss ,Caren Cot-tam, Cot-tam, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Clarene Cottam of Washington, D. C. The young couple's honeymoon was spent traveling through Italy, Yugoslavia, Germany and France on an Italian motorscooter: They arrived back in Utah to start school at the Brigham Young University, where they are both seniors. Dwayne will graduate this spring in pre-law and Caren in elementary education. A combined reception and wel- come home dance will be held Saturday, October 13 for the young couple in the Mtn.
