Show ATTEND POLIO CONVENTION Mr. and Mrs. A r v i n Bellon Duchesne County Polio chairmen, attended the Polio convention at Reno, Nevada, Oct. 4. They were accompanied by Miss Neala Schae-fermeyer, Schae-fermeyer, teen-county chairman. While in Reno they were guests at the home of Mrs. Bellon's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Gilbert. Enroute home they attended Conference in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert McKenna are rejoicing over the arrival of a new granddaughter, born Oct. 4 to Mr. and Mrs. Aral Allred (Elaine), who are now residing in Farmington, N. M. Miss LaJean McKenna left recently for Farmington Farm-ington to help her sister and remain re-main for a few months' visit. The Allreds also have a little boy, Brett, who is two years old. Visitors at the Elmo Nelson home in Salt Lake City last week end were Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Cook and Mrs. Clem Labrum. Mrs. Nora Cook of Salt Lake City visited Monday with Mrs. George Taylor. Mrs. Cook has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Wilson Gutzman, and family in Fort Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Ober-hansly Ober-hansly of Neola left Monday morning for Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, to visit their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Schutlz. They plan to be gone about two weeks. Spending Sunday visiting in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Garnett Birchell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Curry attended attend-ed the football game at Park City Wednesday. Mrs. Marvell Neilson visited from last Wednesday to Sunday in Salt Lake City with her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Belle Reef. Mrs. J. O. Orser arrived home from Salt Lake City Saturday after receiving medical treatment. Her son and daugther-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Orser, brought her home. She resumed her work at the bank Monday. Mrs. Val Timothy reports that she enjoyed her attendance at the LDS conference in Salt Lake City very much. She attended several sessions with Mrs. Doyle Ipson, wife of one of Val's missionary companions in the Central Atlantic States.
