Show Mercy Drive .... Red Cross Roll Call Gets Underway Today The annual Red Cross drive will g'et underway in east Duchesne Du-chesne county today, March 1, and will continue to and including includ-ing March 10, according to the chairman, Mrs. Parley Rawlings. Plans and details for the drive were outlined in full at the Rawlings home Monday evening, eve-ning, when all Red Cross workers work-ers were invited to a luncheon, with Mrs. Rawlings, Mrs. Les Mullins, temporary county chairman, chair-man, and Mrs. Grant Killian, east Duchesne county secretary, as hostesses. Workers attending the meeting meet-ing and social were: Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Mrs. Floyd Labrum, Mrs. Steve Bellon, Mrs. LaRue Laris, Mrs. Stanley Hall, Mrs. D. Piatt Woodland, Mrs. Orson Stevens, Mrs. Ted Jensen, Mrs. Jack Gibson, Mrs. Sam Weiss, Mrs. Donald Laris, Mrs. Leo Hancock, Mrs. Omni Winterton, all of Roosevelt; Mrs. Nathan Allan and Mrs. Merrill Lisonbee, Myton and Pleasant Valley. Workers who were unable to attend are Mrs. Howard Ivory, jMrs. Ned Bellon, Mrs. Clem Labrum, Mrs. Jack Carter, Mrs. Gordon Harmston, Mrs. Paul Stringham, Roosevelt; Mrs. Donna Don-na Brown, Montwel; Mrs. Mol-lie Mol-lie Spencer, Neola. A worker for Ioka is still to be appointed. Mrs. Rawlings stressed that possibly this year, more than in recent previous years, would the Red Cross be called on for aid, and stated that every American citizen should sacri-, fice to contribute to this worthy cause. . 1 |
