Show Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Golden Wedding Observed Feb. 24 Mr. and Mrs. J. II. McCarrell celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, Saturday, Feb. 24. Because of the ill health of both of the honored guests, only members of their family and a few intimate friends were present pres-ent to enjoy an anniversary dinner din-ner in the evening. Their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. A. E. Perez, and her daughter, of Long Beach, Calif., arrived Friday; their son, H. H. McCarrell, and his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Collom, and baby, of Craig, Colo., came Friday evening to be present and to help prepare the celebration. Mr- and Mrs. Jack Giles entertained en-tertained Friday evening at their ranch home at a family dinner honoring Mr. Giles' mother, Mrs. James Giles, on her birthday anniversary. an-niversary. About 40 members of the family were present to extend greetings to Mrs. Giles and enjoy a delicious turkey dinner, prepared and served by the hostess, assisted by her mother, Mrs. W. R. Harris. Officers of the Ladies Aid were guests of Mrs. O. A. Dart Thursday afternoon to prepare materials for the regular work meeting to be held Thursday, March 1. at the home of Mrs. Fred Todd, Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Hemphill Hemp-hill and son, Robert, and daughter, daugh-ter, Helene, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hamilton at the Pariette mine, Thursday evening, eve-ning, in celebration of the joint birthday anniversaries of Mrs. Hamilton and Mr. Hemphill. " Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dean were hosts to a group of young married mar-ried couples, Saturday evening at their ranch home. Enjoying their hospitality were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krause, of Ft. Duchesne; Du-chesne; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clay-burn, Clay-burn, of Bridgeland; Mr. and Mrs. Antone Uresk, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, Mr. and Mrs. John Uresk, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pea-tross Pea-tross and Mr, and Mrs. George Wedig, Games furnished diversion diver-sion during the evening, followed fol-lowed by delicious refreshments. |
