Show 1 Ittehtuel-lHcharck Colleen Blanchard Join In Party Monday evening was a gala night for the Montwel Junior Gleaners and Junior M-Men, combining a Silver Gleaner comraderie with a 'party to which the dads and moms were invited. After the comraderie, games were played and refreshments were served to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parry, Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Mower, Mr. and Mrs. James Powell, Mf: and Mrs. Max Nelson, Nel-son, A. D. Shaw, Ina and Ted Nelson, Arlene and Jimmy Parry, Par-ry, Loene Powell, Marilyn Mower Mow-er and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard. Blan-chard. Our Sweetheart Eall was held Tuesday and was declared a success. Miss Sandra Powell won the title of "Sweetheart of Montwel ward," with the following fol-lowing girlSj as her attendants: Sharon Shaw, Karen Nelson, Rosalie Brown, Enid Brown, Peggy Boren and Ruth Ham-blin. Blanchard made a trip to Salt Lake last week, accompanied ac-companied by her mother, Mrs. Robina Ferguson. The latter received re-ceived medical care in the city. Mr. and Mrs. Marley Hamblin made a business trip to Salt Lake during the week. Mrs. Victor Brown was honored hon-ored at a surprise stork shower at the home of her mother, Mrs. Newt Miller, on Thursday, I. E. Blenchard left for Salt Lake Sunday with his son, Karl. Mr, Blanchard will receive medical med-ical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson Ander-son and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Crow, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Crow. Mrs. Nellie G 1 e a t 0 n and daughter, of Price, visited last week with her father. Willis Miller, and with other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Brown were hosts at a card party last week. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Brown, Mr and Mrs. J. C. Crow, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Crow left for Riverlon, Wyo., Thursday lor a few days visit with relatives. rel-atives. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Blanchard and family, of Spanish Fork surprised relatives last week with an overnight visit. |
