Hullinger, Roosevelt agent for the company, com-pany, who U one of their newest new-est salesmen, having been with the company only a few weeks. The letter specified that Hollis is leading the entire company in business secured since joining join-ing the company. Following is a clipping from the agency's publication in which Hollis Hullinger is cited for his achievement. . . It is being reprinted in the Standard with a word of praise for his efforts and because we glorify in the success of any local man. Nice -Kinda Nice! H. O. Hullinger It is a real pleasure to write this little story about Hollis Hullinger, Hul-linger, a brand new Northern Lifer working in Roosevelt. Utah. Among other things, it affords us the opportunity of offering our warm congratulations congratula-tions on the early and excellent start he has made in the insurance insur-ance business. Notice of appointment from Manager "Dutch" Cannon was received in the Home Office on December 7, and the first case Hollis wrote was dated the fifteenth fif-teenth of December. From then on and during the next month and a half, until January 31, a total of 38 applications were written, about one for every working' day! That is something only infrequently equalled by an underwriter experienced in the business, and when we consider con-sider that Hollis started off cold with no background of io surance selling, his record is all the more remarkable. There were 29 Life appg for $179,650 and an average-sized case of $6,195. There were 9 accident ac-cident and health policies with written premiums of $774. making mak-ing a total of $4,446 in annual premiums written, with cash collected of $1,812. The Life insurance total was comprised of $133,000 Ordinary or Limited Pay Life. $23,000 of Endowment or Retirement Income In-come and $26,650 of Term or Family Income. Not so bad for a new underwriter under-writer working in a rather scattered scat-tered district where the prospects pros-pects are mostly farmers who haven't felt the boom of newly activated defense work. And not so bad was that average-size average-size Life case of over $6,000. Who is this prospective member mem-ber of the exclusive Big Ten? He is Hollis Hullinger. 36. a full five feet eight inches of Scandinavian Scandi-navian descent comprising 160 pounds of dynamite. He is very active in the work of his church, scouts and other local organizations. organi-zations. As you noticed in last month's AB. he is married and the Hullingers have six fine youngsters, the oldest being ten years of age. Hollis is really celebrating two events this month the first being the birth of a new baby girl. Teresa Elaine, born January 18, and, second, leadership in the Company's Com-pany's Written Business column for January. Kinda nice. Hollis; kinda nice! INSURANCE LEADER f 4V |
