Show LAP0II1T Mis. Mable Jenkins Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins, of Duchesne, were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Sr. Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Jr. and daughter, Illene, of Oak Creek, Colo., spent their vacation vaca-tion from Monday to Thursday with Mr. Jenkins' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Sr. and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Sarah Norton is a great-grandmother great-grandmother of a baby boy, born to Mr. and Mrs. Donnal Rasmussen, of Clearfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen are grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn and children are in Vernal, where Mr. Winn has employment with an oil company. !Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe and sons, of Salt Lake City, came in from Salt Lake City, Friday afternoon to attend the graduation exercises of her brother, Darris Rasmussen, and spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurmer Rasmussen. Cpl. Rex Jenkins, 3rd Marine Division from Japan, is aboard the transport General Huger Gaffery, which arrived at San Francisco, Monday, May 17. Alice Jenkins and LaWanna Rasmussen attended the Senior Tea May 17 at the home of Mrs. Howard Harrison, of Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. The graduating Seminary students stu-dents of Lapoint were Alice Jenkins, Larry Bigelow, Larry Huber and Earlene Warburton. Glen Horrocks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks, fell at school last week and fractured frac-tured a wrist. Mrs. Tom Abplanalp and children, chil-dren, Mrs. Bert Carroll, of Vernal, Ver-nal, Mrs. June Woolley and children chil-dren gathered at the home of Mrs. Pearl Woolley, Wednesday. The occasion was a surprise party for , Mrs. Thelma McKee on her birthday. Lunch was served. The students of Lapoint who graduated from Union High School Friday evening, May 21, were: Alice Jenkins, LaWanna Rasmussen, George Forakis, Clifford Bigelow, Larry Huber, Burnell Rich, Darris Rasmussen Rasmus-sen and Larry Bigelow. ! |
