Show Couple Pledges Vows In Outside Ceremony MYTON (Special) In a beautiful home ceremony on the lawn at the home of the bride's parents, Miss Carolyn Dennis and Terry Ross, of Vernal, Ver-nal, exohanged marriage vows Saturday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaVor Dennis and the groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ross, of Vernal. Bishop Clark Roberts officiated in the presence of about fifty guests as the bridal couple stood at a flower decked altar. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a lovely biege suit with brown accessories and carried a bouquet of roses and carnations centered with a corsage. cor-sage. Mrs. Don Rawson, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, wearing a grey suit, with the bridesmaids, Cleo Holgate in a biege suit and Eleanor King in a yellow suit, each having a corsage of roses and carnations. Assuming best man's duties was Lloyd Carlson. Mother of the bride wore a late afternoon dress of rose crepe while the groom's mother moth-er wore a brown suit. Both wore corsages of roses. Wedding refreshments were served to the bridal party and guests. A reception was held at the Legion hall at 9 o'clock and the bride then greeted guests wearing a lovely yellow nylon dress with fitted bodice and full ballerina length skirt and wore her bridal corsage. The young couple left that night on a honeymoon trip through Zion's National Park, Grand Canyon and Boulder City, Nev. as they journey to' Pasarobles, Calif., where they will make their home. Mr. Ross is employed em-ployed by the Shell Oil Co. at Pasarobles. The new Mrs. Ross graduated Friday evening, May 21st with the 1954 class of Union Un-ion High School. |
