Show Memorial Day Program Planned A Memorial Day program will be held at the Presbyterian church Sunday, May 30th at 11 a.m. under the auspicies of the American Legion and Auxiliary, Auxil-iary, Wm. R. Sands Post and Unit No. 5, with Commander Lynn Dean in charge. Special speaker for the occasion will be George Stewart; vocal numbers by Mrs. H. C. Cooper, Geral-dine Geral-dine Richardson and Lowell Babcock and a reading, by Mrs. H. D. Roberts will complete the program. A cordial invitation to attend is extended to everyone. every-one. BRIDGE DINNER Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Miss Alice Todd and Mrs. Bliss Lott were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb in Roosevelt, Sunday evening. Bridge was enjoyed later in the evening with high score and slam prizes awarded to Mrs. Dalgleish and Mr. Mortensen. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Carter' brought Jack Gingell home, Tuesday from Provo, where he had been receiving medical attention at-tention during the past ten days. He is greatly improved. A baby daughter arrived Tuesday, May 18th to bless the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Liddell. Mother and daughter are doing nicely at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital and the proud father is wearing a happy smile. The tiny Miss has a lovely little sister awaijing her arrival home. |
