Show School Party A party was enjoyed Friday at the Avalon School. Those having a hundred percent attendance at-tendance for the school year were: Marie Elsworth, Michael Wall, Ronald Dudley, Janet Durfee, Irene Jensen, Pauline Pickup,i Merelene Marshall and Joyce Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family visited vis-ited Saturday in Roosevelt at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norton Nor-ton Shelton. A large group of Trail Builder Build-er boys and Home Builder girls and their teachers from the Avalon Primary attended stake conference Sunday. The group enjoyed a picnic lunch on the park lawn. The Bee Hive girls gave the assembly program Tuesday evening eve-ning in MIA. Primary Supervisor Beatrice Stringham was a visitor Friday at the Avalon School. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and daughters, Irene and Joyce, visited Sunday evening in Vernal Ver-nal at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. Harlane Turner, of Lapoint, were Sunday visitors vis-itors at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. David Burgess. The Avalon Relief Society planted a patch of tomatoes on Thursday for the ward welfare. |
